Section 8: Protection of action taken under this Act.

The Uttar Pradesh Education Institutions (Prevention of Dissipation of Assets) Act, 1974State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 3 of 1975

(1) No officer or servant of the State Government shall be liable in any civil or criminal proceedings in respect of any act done or purporting to be done in good faith in pursuance of this Act or any order made thereunder.

(2) No suit or other legal proceedings shall lie against the State Government for any damage caused or likely to be caused or any injury suffered or likely to be suffered by virtue of anything in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any order made thereunder.
