Section 31: Electricity supply and overall performance standards

The Uttar Pradesh Electricity Reforms Act, 1999State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 24 of 1999

The Commission may, form time to time, in consultation with the licensees, the Electricity Advisory Committee and any other persons as it thinks fit :

     (a) determine such standards of overall performance in respect of electricity supply services and promotion of the efficient use of electricity by consumers as in its opinion are economical and ought to be achieved by such licensees ad different standards may be determined for different licensees ; and

     (b) publish the standards so determined in such form and in such manner as the Commission may consider proper.
