Now, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 96 (U.P. Act no.2 of 796) the Governor is pleased to include the areas specified in Schedule-I below in the smaller urban arca of Municipal Council Chitrakootdham, District Chitrakoot for फिट purposes of part IX-A of the Constitution, and is further pleased to notify under clause (व) of Article 243-P of the Constitution that the area specified in Schedule-ll below shall be the territorial area of the said Municipal Council Chitrakootdham, District Chitrakoot with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette.
