20C.V.-2022, dated October 13, 2022 for general information:
No. 2030/1X-6-2022-20C.V.-2022 * * Dated Lucknow, October 13, 2032 WHEREAS Government Notification no. 1882/1X-6-2022-20C.V /2022, dated September 26, 2022 was published on the same date to invite objections and suggestions on the proposal for including the area mentioned in Schedule-1 in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council Maunath Bhanjan, district Mau as required under sub-section (1) of scetion 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act 102 of 1916} (hereinafler referred to as the "said Act") ; ’ AND WHEREAS objections and suggestions received in respect of the same within the stipulated period have been disposed of vide Government Order no. 1962/9-6-2022-20 C.V./2022 dated October 03, 2022 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the said Act, the Governor, having regard to the population of the area, the density of the population therein, the revenue generated for local administration, the percentage of employment in non agricultural activities, the economic importance and such other factors, is pleased to declare that the area specified in Schedule- below shall be included in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council Maunath Bhanjan, district Mau for the purpose of Part IX-A of the Constitution of India and is further pleased to notify under clause (d) of Article 243-P of the Constitution that the area specificd in Schedule-11 below shall be the territorial arca of the said Municipal Council Maunath Bhanjan, district Mau, .
