Uttar Pradesh Fruit Nurseries (Regulation) Act, 1976State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 21 of 1976
(1) Every application for a license under this Act shall be made in the prescribed form to the Licensing Authority and shall be accompanied by the prescribed fee.
(2) No license under this Act shall be granted, if it appears to the Licensing Authority that —
(a) the fruit nursery is not suitable for the proper propagation of the fruit plants, in respect of which license has been applied for ;
(b) the applicant is not competent to conduct such a fruit nursery ;
(c) the application is not accompanied by the prescribed fee ;
(d) the applicant has been convicted of any offence under this Act, or the rules made thereunder.
