Section 5: Term of office and allowances of members

The Uttar Pradesh Go-Seva Ayog Adhiniyam, 1999State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 15 of 1999

[(1) every non-official member shall hold office for a term of one year and shall be eligible for re-nomination ;

Provided that a non-official member shall hold office during the pleasure of the Government. ]

(2) There shall be paid to the non-official members, Chairperson and Vice-chairperson such allowances as may be prescribed.

(3) A non-official member may, by writing under his hand addressed to the Government, resign his office at any time and on such resignation being accepted, he shall be deemed to have vacated his office.
