Section 17: Registration of drilling agencies

The Uttar Pradesh Ground Water (Management and Regulation) Act, 2019State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 13 of 2019

(1) No person including firm, agency or company shall perform or engage in drilling the ground for extraction of ground water without registration with District Ground Water Management Council concerned.

(2) Every person, firm, agency or company already engaged in drilling of ground for extraction of ground water shall apply for the registration with the District Ground Water Management Council within such period as may be required by the said Council.
