Section 20: Confirmation

GROUP A & B SERVICE REGULATION 2005 (English)State Regulations of Uttar Pradesh · 1960

A probationer shall be confirmed in his appointment at the end of the period of probation or the extended period of probation if-

(a) his work and conduct is reported to be satisfactory;

(b) his integrity is certified; and

(c) the appointing authority is satisfied that he is otherwise fit for confirmation.

(d) "Provided that subject to the above provisions, the Uttar Pradesh State Government Servant Confirmation Rules, 1991, as amended from time to time, shall also mutatis mutandis apply to a person who is substantively appointed on such post".
