(1) The scales of pay admissible to persons appointed to the various categories of posts in the Service whether in a substantive or officiating capacity or as a temporary measure, shall be such as may be determined by the Board, with previous approval of Government from time to time. (2) The scales of pay at the time of commencement of these regulations shall be such as specified against the relevant posts in the Appendix "A".
