Section 15: The Registrar.

(1) The Registrar shall be a whole time Officer of the University and shall be appointed by the State Government for the term of three years, not below the rank of Special Secretary or equivalent on such terms and condition as may be prescribed.

(2) The Registrar shall have the power to authenticate records on behalf of the University.

(3) The Registrar shall be responsible for the due custody of the records, the common seal of the University.

(4) The Registrar shall be ex-officio Secretary of the Executive Council.

(5) He shall also perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes and Ordinances or required, from time to time, by the Executive Council or the Vice-Chancellor but he shall not be entitled to vote.

(6) The Registrar shall not be offered nor he shall accept any remuneration for any works in the University such as may be prescribed.
