Section 54: Court competent to try offences under this act and take cognizance of offences
The Uttar Pradesh Homoeopathic Medicines Act, 1951State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 8 of 1952
(1) No court other than the court of a Magistrate of the first class shall take cognizance of, or try an offence under this Act.
(2) No court shall take cognizance of any offences under this Act except on a complaint in writing of an officer empowered by rules made in this behalf.
