Section 19: Preliminary publication of the Draft Compensation assessment Roll

The Uttar Pradesh Imposition of Ceiling on Land Holdings Act, 1960State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 1 of 1961

(1) The Compensation Officer shall, in respect of every person entitled to [the amount payable under section 17] cause to be prepared a draft compensation assessment roll in such from and in such manner as may be prescribed.

(2) The draft compensation assessment roll prepared under subsection (1), together with a notice calling upon every person referred to in that sub-section, to show cause within twenty-one days from the date of service thereof, why the draft compensation assessment roll be not taken as final, shall be served on very such person in such manner as may be prescribed.
