[ 38-A. (1) Where the prescribed authority or the appellate court considers it necessary for the enforcement of the proceedings under this Act, it may, at any stage of the proceedings under this act, require any tenure-holder to furnish such particulars by affidavit in respect of the land held by him and members of his family as may be prescribed. (2) The particulars of land under sub-section (1) may be taken into consideration in determining the surplus land of such tenure-holder.]
