Section 62: Disposal of election papers

Uttar Pradesh Kshetra Panchayat and Zila Panchayat (Member of Elections), Rule, 1994State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1961

All papers relating to the election mem bers of Kshettra Panchayat or Zila Panchayat except the election returns shall b destroyed after a period of one year from the date of declaration of the ,esulf_ & electiole, subject to any directions to the contrary given by the Gtate Electio® Commission or a Competent Court o a Tribunal. The election returns shal 2 retained till the termination of the next general elections and shall thereafter P¢ dest-royed subject, to any directions to the contrary given by a Competent Authority.
