Section 236: External control over Kshettra Panchayat.

236. (1) The provisions of [section 225 to 233] shall as far as may be, apply to [Kshettra Panchayat] as if the expressions [Zila Panchayat] [Adhyaksha], [Mukhya Adhikari] and [Zila Nidhi] had been substituted by the expression [Kshettra Panchayat], [Pramukh] [Khand Vikas Adhikari] and [Kshettra Nidhi] ;

Provided that the District Magistrate may delegate any or all of his powers under the said sections to a Sub-Divisional Officer exercising jurisdiction within the whole or part of the Khand.
