Section 3: Salary

The Uttar Pradesh Ministers (Salaries, Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisionsion) Act, 1981State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 14 of 1981

[3. (1) The Chief Minister, every Minister, Minister of State (Independent Charge) and Minister of State shall be entitled, throughout the term of his office, to a salary of [Fifty thousand] rupees per month.

[Provided that the Chief Minister, every Minister, Minister of State (Independent Charge) and Minister of State shall be, from April, 2020 to March, 2021 entitled to only Seventy percent of the salary, Constituency Allowance and Secretarial Allowance payable to them per month.]

(2) Every Deputy Minister shall be entitled, throughout the term of his office, to a salary of [forty five thousand] rupees per month.]
