Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Uttar Pradesh Motor Transport Workers Rules, 1962State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 2020

(1) These rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh Motor Transport Workers Rules, 1962.

(2) They shall extend to the whole of Uttar Pradesh.

(3) These rules, except Rules 16 to 22, shall come into force immediately; rules 16 to 22 shall come into force on such date or dates as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
