Section 11: Qualification for election as 2Mayor and 5 * * * .

11. (1) No person shall be qualified for election as [Mayor] -

(a) if he is not an elector in the City ;

(b) if he has not attained the age of 30 years ;

(c) if he is disqualified under sub-section (1) of section 25 for election as a [Corporator] [***] ; or

(d) if he was defeated at the poll at an election to any seat of [***] [Corporator] unless at least six months have elapsed since the date of declaration of the result of that election.
