Section 12E: Registration to be in one ward only

12-E. (1) No person shall be entitled to be registered in the electoral roll for more than one ward or more than once in the electoral roll for the same ward.

(2) No person shall be entitled to be registered in the electoral roll for any ward, if his name is entered in any electoral roll pertaining in [Municipal area, Cantonment or area of Gram Panchayat] unless he shows that his name has been struck off such electoral roll.
