Section 46: Term of office of President

Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 2 of 1916

[46. (1) Except as otherwise provided in this Act, the term of office of a President shall be co-terminus with the term of the Municipality.

(2) The term of office of a President elected in a casual vacancy shall be the remainder of the term of office of his predecessor.]
