Section 15: Marital Status

The Uttar Pradesh Palika and Jal Sansthans Water Works Engineering (Centralised) Services Rules, 1996State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1916

A male candidate who has more than one wife living and a female candidate who has married a man already having a wife, shall not be eligible for recruitment to the Centralised Services:

Provided that the Government may, if satisfied that there are special grounds for doing so, exempt any person from the operation of the provisions of this rule.
