Section 41: Constitution of Palika and Jal Sansthan Hill Sub-Cadre

The Uttar Pradesh Palika and Jal Sansthans Water Works Engineering (Centralised) Services Rules, 1996State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1975

(1) Notwithstanding anything in these rules, there shall be separate Palika and Jal Sansthan Hill Sub-Cadre of the Centralised Services montioned in column 1 of Schedule IV consisting of the posts mentioned against them in colume II thereof.

(2) the incumbents of such posts shall, after their allocation to the said sub-cadre in accordance with rule 4, not be liable to be transferred outside the Hill districts, namely Almora, Chamoli, Dehra Dun, Naini Tal, Pauri, Pithora garh, Tehri, Uttar Kashi and Udham Singh Nagar.

(3) The strength of Palika and Jal Sansthan Hill Sub-Cadre of each of the Centralised Service, referred to in sub-rule (1), shall be such as the Government may, from time to time fix by general or special order.
