Section 39: Right to Appeal

The Uttar Pradesh Private Universities Act, 2019State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 12 of 2019

39. (1) An aggrieved person may prefer an appeal to the Chancellor/President against any decision of an officer or authority of the university within a period of three months from the date of receipt of such decision.

Provided that the Chancellor/President shall have power to condone the delay if he is satisfied that the appellant for sufficient reasons could not have preferred his appeal within the stipulated time.

(2) Any decision taken by the Chancellor/President in such an appeal shall be final.
