Section 24: Search in Certified Institution

The Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Beggary Act, 1975State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 36 of 1975

The superintendent of Certified Institution may direct that any person received in the Certified Institution shall be searched, that he shall be cleansed that his personal effects shall be inspetced and that any money or other thing found with him shall be disposed of in the prescribed manner:

Provided that a female shall be searched only by a female, and with due regard to decency.
