Section 2: Act not to apply to certain Areas

The Uttar Pradesh Protection of Trees Act, 1976State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 45 of 1976

This Act shall not apply to--

(a) trees situate in reserved and protected forests;

(b) trees situate in a forest or forest land in respect of which any notification under the Indian Forest Act, 1927 as amended in its application to Uttar Pradesh is in force;

[(c) trees situate in Cantonment areas;]
