1.(1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Public Moneys (Recovery of Dues) Act, 1972.
(2) It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh.
(3) This section and Sections 2 to 5 shall be deemed to have come into force on December 4, 1965.
