Section 9: Application/ claim petition for compensation

9. [(1) every application/Claim Petition for compensation shall be filed within three years, accompanied by a fee of rupees twenty five in the form of court fee stamp.]

(2) All applications, before the Claims Tribunal, other than application mentioned in clause (i) shall be stamped with a court-fee stamp of rupees fifty. A process fee of rupees hundred shall be in the form of court-fee stamps paid for each witness or party summoned.

(3) An application under this section shall be presented before the Claims Tribunal by the petitioner unless he is prevented by sufficient cause from appearing personally, in which case the application may be presented by his agent authorized in writing in this behalf.
