Section 190: Deposit of purchase money

190. The balance amount of the purchase money shall be paid by the purchaser on or before the fifteenth day from the date of the sale in the office of the Collector or at the district treasury or subtreasury, and in case of default—

(a) the property shall be resold ; and

(b) the deposit made under section 189 shall be forfeited to the State Government.
