Rules for Elections to the Board of Indian Medicine, U. P.State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1939

(1) On receiving a notice under rule 17 the Returning Officer shall note thereon the date on which and the hour at which it was delivered and if it was received within the time in sub-rule (1) of rule 17 order the return of the deposit mentioned in rule 14 to the candidate or the person making a deposit.

(2) The Returning Officer shall as soon as may be after receiving notice of withdrawal under rule 17 cause-a notice of withdrawal to be prepared in Form VII and affixed in some conspicuous place in his office and delete the name of the candidate withdrawing his candidature from the list prepared under rule
