Section 40

Rules for Elections to the Board of Indian Medicine, U. P.State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1939

(1) Subject to the provisions of rule 38 the State Government may in the case of any grave emergency or other unavoidable cause extend the date notified under sub-rule (1)of rule 12.

(2) Subject to the provisions of rule VI, the Returning Officer may in the case of any grave emergency or other unavoidable cause alter the dates notified under sub-rule (2) of rule 12.

(3) The extension and alteration in the dates as aforesaid may be made even though the date or dates originally notified may have expired.
