Section 52

Rules for Elections to the Board of Indian Medicine, U. P.State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1939

(1) before the appointment of a tribunal to try an election petition, the petition, may be withdrawal by the petitioner or the petitioners, as the case may be, by making an application to the District judge, Lucknow stating the intention to withdraw the petition and upon the making of such an application the petition shall stand withdrawn and no further action be taken for its trial,

(2) After the appointment of a tribunal to try election petition the petition may be withdrawn with the leave of the tribunal by making an application as aforesaid to the tribunal.
