Section 233: Order for renewal or refund

THE UTTAR PRADESH STAMP RULES 1942 (As Amended)State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1899

The order for renewal, or for the payment of the amount to be refunded, shall be conspicuously endorsed on any available space or the stamped paper itself and shall be signed and dated by the Collector. It shall be addressed to the officer-in-charge of the local treasury and shall Endorsement on the stamped paper-(a) in the case of renewal, state the numbers and values of stamps to be issued in exchange, and

(b) in the case of refund, direct the payment, in words and figures, of the actual sum due, after all deductions required by the existing rules have been made, and
