Section 4: Term of office and conditions of services

[(1) The Chairperson, a Vice-Chairperson or every member shall hold office for a term of one year from the date he assumes office or at the pleasure of the State Government:

Provided that the State Government may revoke the term of any such office bearers at any time without mentioning any reason.]

[(2) The Chairperson, any Vice-Chairperson or any member shall not hold office below the age of 25 years.]

[(3) The Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson shall be having the status of Minister of State and Deputy Minister of the State respectively.]

(4) The Chairperson or a Member other than the Member-Secretary may, by writing under his hand and addressed to the State Government, resign from the office ofthe Chairperson or, as the case may be, ofthe Member at any time.

(6) A vacancy caused under sub-section (2) or otherwise shall be filled by fresh nomination.

(7) The salaries, and allowances payable to and the other terms and conditions of service of [The Chairperson, the Vice-Chairperson] and Members shall be such as may be prescribed.
