(a) Direct recruitment to the posts of Group A and B mentioned in Appendix-A shall be made by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, the procedure whereof shall be as follows:- 527 RPH (Rajaswa Anubhag-11) 2025 data 8¢ TR WA AR TS, 25 FIE, 2026 21
(1) Applications for being considered for selection shall be called by the Commission in the form published in the advertisement issued by the Commission.
(2) The Commission will prepare the selection list in the order of proficiency on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the essential educational qualification prescribed for the concerned post as per Appendix (C) referred to in Rule-8 (in such a situation when the essential educational qualification includes not one degree but more than one degree/diploma, then the average of the percentage of both will be considered for merit) and the total marks obtained in the interview. The marks for the interview will be determined/given as per the rules/policy of the Public Service Commission. While preparing such a list, if two or more candidates obtain equal marks, then they shall be given preference as per Appendix C. Even after the above, if two or more candidates are at the same level, then the Commission can arrange the names of the candidates as per its general policy. If any provision of the rules is silent in the context of direct recruitment to the posts under the purview of the Public Service Commission inciuded in the rules, then action will be taken by the Public Service Commission after taking a decision in this regard. The Commission will prepare the sclect list of candidates in relation to the vacancies and forward it to the appointing authority along with its recommendations.
(b) Direct recruitment to the posts of Group - C as mentioned in Appendix-B shall be made by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission, the procedure where of shall be as follows :- Direct recruitment shall be made according to the provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Direct Recruitment to Group-C Posts (Mode and Procedurc) Rules, 2015, as amended from time to time.
PART-VI APPOINTMENT, PROBATION, CONFIRMATION AND SENIORITY
16. The appointing authority shall make appointment by taking the names of ~Appointment candidates in the order in which they stand in the list prepared under rule 15.
(2) If more than one order of appointment are issued in respect of any one selection, a combined order shall also he issued. mentioning the names of the persons in order of seniority as determined in the selection.
