Section 8: Vacancy in the Governing Council not to invalidate proceedings

The Uttar Pradesh State Highways Authority Act, 2004State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 19 of 2004

No act or proceeding of the Governing Council shall be invalidated merely by reason of, -

(a) Any vacancy in, or any defect in the Constitution of, the Governing Council; or

(b) Any defect in the appointment of a person acting as an expertmember of the Governing Council ; or

(c) Any irregularity in the procedure adopted by the Governing Council not affecting the merits of the case.
