Section 19: Other Committees of the Board

19.(1) The Board may also constitute the following Committees : —

(a) Syllabus Committee

(b) Examination Committee

(c) Recognition Committee

(d) Finance Committee

(2) The Board my constitute such other committee or committees as it may think fit.

(3) Each of the Committees constituted under sub-section (1) shall consist of the Director as its Chairman and such other members, not exceeding seven as the Board may think fit.

(4) Each such committee shall have a Secretary thereof who shall be deputed by the Director from amongst the officers of the Board. Provided that the Examination Committee shall have the Secretary to be known as the Examination Controller. Such Secretary shall be an officers of the Provincial Education Service appointed by the State Government.

(5) Any member of the Board may be appointed to be a member of any Committee constituted under sub section (4) but the total number of members of the Board, including Director in any such committee shall not exceed four.
