Section 5: Exemptions

Uttar Pradesh Terminal Tax on Railway Passengers Ordinance, 1954Ordinance · 1954

Nothing contained in this Ordinance shall apply to—

(a) children not over three years of age; and

(b) persons travelling on military warrants.

THE SCHEDULE (See section 2) Class of accommodation.

i Air-conditioned or First Class Second Class Inter Class in respect of every single ticket.

2 Rupees i/8/- Rupec i/-/- Eight annas, if the distance to be travelled by railway before reaching the destination is less than fifty miles ; ten annas, if otherwise.
