Section 2: Definitions

The U P Industrial Establishment (National Holidays) Rules,1965State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1961

In these rules, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context—

(a) "Act" means the U. P. Industrial Establishments (National Holidays) Act, 1961 (U. P. Act No. XVIII of 1961)

(b) "Section" means a section of the Act ;

(d) all other words and expressions used in these rules and not defined shall have the meaning respectively assigned to them under the Act.
