Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

U.P. Industrial Housing Act, 1955State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 23 of 1955

(1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Housing Act, 1955.

(2) It shall extend to the whole of Uttar Pradesh.

(3) It shall come into force in such areas and with effect from such date as the State

Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, declare in this behalf.
