Section 9: The Kuladhipati (Chancellor)

The U.P. Krishi Evam Prodyogik Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 1958State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 45 of 1958

. (1) The Governor of Uttar Pradesh shall be the [Kuladhipati] (Chancellor) of the University. He shall, by virtue of his office, be the head of the University, and shall, when present, preside at any Convocation of the University.

(2) The [Kuladhipati] (Chancellor) shall have such other powers as may be conferred on him by this Act or the Statutes.
