Permanent advance of rupees one lakh shall be held by the General Manager of the Corporation to meet certain classes of expenditure before he or the Divisional Managers and the Chief Mechanical Engineer can place themselves in funds by drawing bills. The General Manager will sanction and allocate imprest for the Central Office, the Divisional Managers and the Chief Mechanical Engineer out of this amount.
