Section 22: Intimation of results of election

(1) The Returning Officer shall intimate the names of the elected candidates to the State Government for publication thereof in the Gazette under sub-section (2) of section 32 of the Act.

(2) In case of any dispute regarding the election, which may be lodged with the Returning Officer within fifteen days of the declaration of the results of the election, it shall be referred to the State Government for its decision, under section 37 of the Act, which shall the final.
