Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The United Provinces Cotton (Statistics) Act, 1947State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 5 of 1947

1. (1) This Act may be called the United Provinces Cotton (Statistics) Act, 1947.

(2) It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the [State Government] may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
