[ 36. The Board shall have the following powers and duties, namely
(1) to advise the State Government in matters relating to Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbi systems of medicine research and postgraduate education ; ]
[ (2) to accord, suspend or withdraw, on the recommendations of the Faculty, recognition to training centers imparting instruction in para-medical courses ; ]
(3) to publish the results of the examinations conducted by the Faculty ;
[(4) to grant diplomas or certificates to candidates who are successful at the Boards examination ; ]
(5) to levy fees laid down in regulations for admission to Boards examinations ;
(6) to allot adequate funds to the Faculty for carrying out its duties ;
[ (7) to perform such other functions for the development of Ayurvedic and Unani Systems of medicine and surgery as may be consistent with the provisions of the Act ; ]
(8) to exercise such other powers as may be specified by or under this Act ; and
