Section 32: Cognizance of offences

The United Provinces Nurses, Midwives, Assistant Midwives Auxillary Nursemidwives and Health Visitors Registration Act, 1934State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 15 of 1934

No court shall take cognizance of any offence punishable under this Act except upon complaint made by order of the [State Government] or by the Council with the previous sanction of the [State Government].

(2) No court inferior to the court of a District Magistrate or a Magistrate of the first class shall try any offence punishable under this Act.
