3. Every Superintendent of a Centre and every Invigilator shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code during the course of an examination or examinations conducted by the University and for a period of one month prior to the commencement of and of [six] months immediately following such examination or examinations.
