Section 5: Amendment of section 2

The Uttar Pradesh Universities (Re-Enactment and Amendment) Act, 1974State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 29 of 1974

In section 2 of the principal Act-

(i) in clause (4), for the words "this Act", the words "this Act and the Statutes of the University" shall be substituted;

1 (ii) in clause (18), for the words "by the University or by a constituent, affiliated or associated college for imparting instruction or guiding or conducting research", the words "for imparting instruction or guiding or conducting research in the University or in an Institute or in a constituent, affiliated or associated college" shall be substituted.
