In these rules unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context-
(i) ‘Act’ means the Uttar Pradesh Avas Evam Vikas Parishad Adhiniyam, 1965;
(ii) Board means the Uttar Pradesh Avas Evam Vikas Parishad established under the Act.
