Section 5: Deposit of contributions

The UP Basic Education Provident Fund Rules, 1975State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 1972

(1) Subject to any directions of the State Government, an account of the Provident Fund established under Rule 3 shall, at the discretion of the Board, be opened in the Government Treasury.

(2) Where an account of the Provident fund is opened in the Government Treasury, the interest payable on the amount in deposit to the-credit of a subscriber shall be paid by the State Government.
