Section 2: Definitions

In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires, -

(a) "Act" means the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Act, 1972;

(b) words and expressions used but not defined in these rules and defined in the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Act, 1972, shall have the meanings assigned to them in that Act.
